Gateway First Bank has announced the appointment of fintech leader Jeff Weiner as its chief information officer.

Weiner brings 30 years of technology, operations, and leadership experience to the role. He will be responsible for evaluating the company's existing technologies and processes, as well as advising on the best strategies to streamline all internal operations, external systems, and platform. The industry veteran will also oversee Gateway's enterprise delivery and vendor management functions.

Before joining Gateway, Weiner held executive roles in financial services and banking, retail operations, and technology services. He most recently served as chief information officer at Fiserv.
