Nations Lending has announced the appointment of Greg Griffin (pictured) as vice president and central regional manager.

The national mortgage lender tapped Griffin to oversee existing branches across the central United States while also focusing on the company’s growth plans in the region. Griffin’s appointment comes on the heels of the company’s branch opening in Green Bay, Wis., Monona, Wis., and Crystal Lake, Ill.

“Nations is a great fit for what I want in a workplace. The culture and size make me feel like my actions lead to a direct impact,” Griffin said. “Working here is fantastic because I feel like I’m more than just a number in an office. I’m ready to grow our team and get to work.”

The 32-year mortgage veteran joined Nations from Guaranteed Rate, where he most recently served as senior vice president of strategic growth. Before Guaranteed, he spent nearly nine years at New American Funding.

“Greg brings 32 years of invaluable experience to our team,” said Corey Caster, executive vice president of national production at Nations Lending. “We’re investing in him by putting the right personnel around him and properly growing our Central US presence. We’re thrilled to welcome him.”
