KeyBank taps mortgage veteran as senior relationship manager

Mortgage banking professional Zammy Arcos (pictured) has joined KeyBank Community Development Lending and Investment (CDLI) as senior relationship manager.

In her new role, Arcos will focus on expanding KeyBank’s equity originations and community development banking efforts in North Carolina and the Northeast region. The appointment comes as the bank continues its commitment to affordable housing nationwide and growing its CDLI platform.

Arcos has spent most of her 15-year career at Bank of America’s Community Development Banking Group, where she most recently served as a credit officer focused on community development and commercial real estate.

Based in Charlotte, NC, Arcos will report to Victoria O’Brien, senior vice president and head of equity originations at KeyBank Real Estate Capital.

“I am thrilled to welcome Zammy to the team to expand our reach,” O’Brien said. “In 2021, we set a goal to double affordable housing investments and lending by the end of 2023, and with our continued focus on expanding our team and services, we are projected to reach that mark.”

KeyBank CDLI finances affordable housing projects across all 50 states. The capital provider offers a wide array of loan programs, including construction, bridge-to-re-syndication, preservation loans, lines of credit, agency and HUD permanent mortgage executions, and equity investments for low-income housing projects, especially Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) financing.
