He brings more than two decades of industry experience
Movement Mortgage has expanded its team of loan officers in the South Atlantic Region with the addition of mortgage expert Kevin Medlin (pictured).
With over 21 years of experience, Medlin joins Movement’s branch in Florence, Tenn., which has been his home since he moved from Charlotte at the age of three.
“I feel like I was put here to help make the dream of home ownership a reality for families in this great community,” he said on the company’s blog. “I then became friends with a home loan originator who thought I would be a good fit for their team. I was hooked as soon as I learned how to properly spell mortgage.”
Medlin came to Movement after more than four years at Guaranteed Rate, where he served as branch manager and vice president of mortgage lending. Before that, he worked as a loan officer at various mortgage banks and companies, including Finance of America Mortgage, First Federal, and BB&T (now Truist).

“My definition of success is different today than it once was,” Medlin said. “I no longer feel like I need to compartmentalize my spiritual values and keep them separate from my career. Movement appears to have found the solution to combine the two and still be able to execute with a high level of success. That is not something we see every day, and I want to be a part of it.”
