Tammy Richards has been recognized as one of the leading women in the US mortgage industry by being listed in the 2017 edition of Mortgage Professional America's Elite Women
Having joined Caliber Home Loans in 2013, Tammy Richards serves as the company’s EVP of national operations, leading the processing, underwriting and closing teams for retail, wholesale, correspondent, portfolio and consumer direct lending. She currently oversees more than 2,000 associates and over 27 fulfillment sites. Prior to this role, Richards worked at Bank of America Home Loans, Countrywide Home Loans and RNG Mortgage, where she began her career in the mortgage industry more than 30 years ago.
For each department of Caliber she serves, Richards brings experience in improving workflow and fulfillment processes and Six Sigma Black Belt techniques, helping to improve quality and reduce defects. She has spent time in supplemental roles throughout her time with Caliber, creating and improving numerous process initiatives across the organization, most recently the company’s digital mortgage.
