Freedom Mortgage scoops top workplace honor

Freedom Mortgage has clinched the Top Workplaces USA award for the fourth consecutive time.

The recognition – issued by Energage, an organization that develops solutions to build and brand Top Workplaces – is based on a survey of more than 20 million employees across the country. Over 7,000 organizations were invited to participate in the 2024 survey.

The Top Workplaces USA program celebrates organizations with over 150 employees that cultivate outstanding workplace cultures. Winners are chosen solely based on employee feedback through an Energage survey evaluating research-based statements and culture drivers proven to predict high performance against industry benchmarks.

Freedom Mortgage president and CEO Stanley Middleman commented: “We are honored to, once again, receive this prestigious award. Being recognized as a Top Workplaces USA company reaffirms our commitment to fostering a culture of support, growth and community engagement that empowers Freedom Mortgage employees to thrive, both personally and professionally. I remain immensely proud of our team’s dedication and contributions, which have made a significant impact on the communities we serve.”

Middleman credited Freedom Mortgage’s employees for the company’s continued success. Last year, it serviced the mortgages of two million homeowners, representing over $460 billion in loans. The company also donated more than $660,000 in 2023 while seeing nearly 2,300 employee volunteer hours spent bettering local communities.

Founded in 1990, the Florida-based mortgage lender is licensed in all 50 states, including DC, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Freedom is also a VA and FHA lender nationwide and a major philanthropic supporter of the USO.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” Energage CEO Eric Rubino said in a Press release. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
