Valuation Partners appoints new VP of Western region

Appraisal management firm Valuation Partners hired Karen Herr as vice president to lead its business in the West region.

As vice president of US West region, Herr will oversee business development and new client services in several states including Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Herr brings over 30 years of experience in the mortgage finance industry. She most recently served as a regional sales manager of Penny Mac loan services. In this role, Herr managed client relationships for Penny Mac’s correspondent channel in five western states. She has also worked as senior vice president at Mortgage Capital Management, correspondent sales director at Stonegate Mortgage, and vice president at JP Morgan Chase’s wholesale and correspondent divisions.
