StreetLinks Assures Lenders of UMDP Appraisal Compliance

Indianapolis, IN – Lending valuation services provider, StreetLinks Lender Solutions, announced yesterday that they ensure compliance with phase one of the Uniform Mortgage Data Program (UMDP) for appraisals ordered through both their full-service AMC solution, LenderPlus™, and their self-managed appraisal software platform, LenderX™.   For appraisals with an effective date on or after September 1, 2011, in conjunction with the Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) deadline, StreetLinks requires that appraisers provide these appraisals in the UAD-compliant format for applicable appraisal forms. As outlined by the UMDP, all appraisals on loans destined for Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac will be required to comply with new UAD data standardization requirements in order to establish a consistent methodology for delivered appraisals and loan data.   Phase two of UMDP, the Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP), will be applicable to loans delivered to the GSEs on or after March 19, 2012. StreetLinks is currently in the process of integrating for delivery to the UCDP on behalf of all clients, and will be prepared for UCDP compliance prior to December 1, 2011, for early adopters.   “We’ve taken great care with these measures so that our lender clients can feel confident that their appraisal reports and their processes will be in compliance with existing and upcoming requirements. As their valuation partner, we’ve got them covered,” said Streetlinks COO, Tony Ebeyer.
