Sierra Pacific Mortgage launches mobile app to simplify home-loan process

Sierra Pacific Mortgage Company has launched a new mobile application that delivers client status updates to its borrowers.

The app, SPM GO, streamlines the loan application process while providing instant loan status tracking, updates, and messaging functionality to borrowers, their realtors, and loan officers. Sierra Pacific said its loan officers have additional access to SPM GO through their laptop, which enables them to manage each application.

Powered by Simple Nexus, the app also allows borrowers to photograph and upload supporting documents – eliminating the need to scan, fax, or hand-deliver loan documents.

 “We’re genuinely excited to introduce this new technology,” said Sierra Pacific Chief Production Officer Jay Promisco. “This native app provides seamless, secure communication and updates to our loan officers, borrowers, and REALTOR associates. In addition, borrowers can apply for home financing in 20 minutes or less, thanks to the technology that powers the application.”
