Mortgage Specialists International announced its acquisition of prominent real-estate auction house Williams, Williams & McKissick, according to a news release.

The Texas-based company’s acquisition also includes subsidiaries Williams & Williams Auctioneers and AuctionNetwork.com.

"After a thorough assessment, MSI determined that this acquisition would be a benefit to both existing and potential clients," said Jim Shivers, chief executive officer at MSI. "We've expanded our services now to include auction sales for all types of real estate – commercial, residential, luxury, farms & ranches, specialty government and bank-owned."

Williams & Williams will remain in Tulsa, OK. Its founders, Dean Williams and Pamela McKissick, will remain on board.

"As a brand built on providing solutions for all real estate needs, having a brokerage network and auction disposition strategy with interactive bidding allows us to provide even more customized services for our clients," said Steve Stallard, president of MSI.

Williams & Williams has auctioned more than $10 billion worth of real estate nationwide and abroad.
