Utah-based Castle & Cooke Mortgage has a new executive team member.

Candice Pitcher has been named the company’s new director of compliance. In that role, Pitcher will oversee enterprise compliance management and legal affairs, according to a news release.

“With over 13 years of experience working in financial services regulatory compliance, Candice brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will benefit all who have the privilege to work with her,” said Adam Thorpe, president and COO of Castle & Cooke Mortgage. “Her commitment to transparency, honesty and integrity perfectly complement our company values, and I am confident she will lead her team in a way that will continue to elevate our entire company.

Pitcher was the former senior vice president of compliance at a mid-sized mortgage servicing company. She began her career advising banks, non-banks and other financial servicing companies on regulatory compliance and exam management.
