Mortgage lender co-CEOs receive Entrepreneur of the Year award in Florida
The co-CEOs of Florida-based FBC Mortgage were given the statewide Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 award, according to a news release.

Rob and Joe Nunziata were given the award under the Financial Services category.

"It is a huge honor to be recognized by the Entrepreneur of the Year committee," said Rob Nunziata. "We've come so far in nearly 12 years, going from a small team of about 15 people in Orlando to a powerhouse mortgage lender with over 700 employees and offices all over the country – Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, the Carolinas – and we keep on growing."

"FBC was founded right when things took a turn for the worse in the housing market,” said Joe Nunziata. “We were resilient and successful during that time and have continued to consistently grow our volume year after year. It's been great to see the company grow so much – we're very proud of where FBC's been, where it's at and where it's going."

The two are now eligible for consideration for the national Entrepreneur of the Year program. The national awards will be held at Palm Springs, Calif., on Nov. 18.
