Inlanta Mortgage has been named a top workplace by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The Journal Sentinel’s Top Workplace honors recognize companies whose employees rated them highly in categories such as leadership, ethics, culture, direction, training and benefits. Award winners don’t know whether their employees have rated them favorably until all the results have been collected.

“When I founded Inlanta Mortgage in 1993, this is what I hoped for,” said Chief Executive Officer, John Knowlton.  “I wanted to staff our company with talented people and I wanted to make sure that we treated them right. The success of any company is highly dependent upon a strong and engaged employee base. The employees at Inlanta are part of my family. In fact, some of our loan officers have been with us since the beginning.”

The Wisconsin-based company, which boasts 31 branches in 16 states, was also recognized as a top workplace in 2012. It has been named one of the mortgage industry’s top 25 tech-savvy lenders every year since 2010, as well as one of the top 100 mortgage companies in the country.
