Homespire launches homeownership program for healthcare workers

Homespire Mortgage has announced the launch of a new program that supports healthcare workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

The mortgage lender's Homeownership for Healthcare Heroes Program is a new initiative that waives all lender fees for qualified borrowers on all mortgage loan options. Healthcare workers can save an estimated $1,520 through the program, according to Homespire.

Eligible program participants include doctors, nurses, administrative professionals, and home healthcare professionals, as well as those working in doctor's offices and nursing homes. The company-wide program will be available throughout 2020 on all qualifying applications submitted this year.

"We are both grateful and humbled by the tremendous hard work, bravery and selflessness our healthcare workers show as they continue to take care of us during these difficult times," said Michael Rappaport, president of Homespire Mortgage. "At Homespire, we want to recognize these everyday heroes in the communities where we serve and assist them with their dreams of homeownership."
