CMG Financial names new regional VP

CMG Financial has added Michael Iorio to its Western division leadership team as regional vice president of Northern California and Nevada.

As regional vice president, Iorio will spearhead the firm’s growth initiatives in these regions. He will also focus on developing existing partnerships and sourcing new opportunities for the company’s growth. Iorio plans to hire and onboard talents across the Northern California and Nevada regions, according to CMG.

In his two decades in the mortgage banking industry, Iorio has held senior leadership roles at national banks and lenders. Most recently, he was senior vice president at Stearns Lending and chief operating officer at Citywide Home Loans. He also served as president at Private Mortgage Advisors for over six years and held various sales and operational roles at Wells Fargo for more than seven years before that.

"Michael Iorio is a talented leader with significant experience growing and supporting successful mortgage teams," said Chip Larson, western divisional vice president of retail lending at CMG. "We are extremely excited to add Michael to our Western Division leadership group and are confident he will add to the strong growth we are experiencing in our Retail Channel."

"I am excited to join the growing CMG team, a family-owned company focused on the borrower experience," Iorio said. "CMG provides loan officers [with] a variety of tools allowing them to be more effective and productive, and our innovative product line gives qualified borrowers more options."
