Charlotte-based digital mortgage lender expands to two new states

Digital mortgage lender Wyndham Capital Mortgage has announced an expansion after a record performance last quarter.

Earlier this year, Wyndham opened its first lending centers in Kansas City and Salt Lake City, adding 21 new employees to its team. The Charlotte-based lender said it would continue to scale its sales and operation teams to meet the demands of its growing customers.

Additionally, the company announced plans to build its new headquarter next year.

"Our goal is to create an office where people want to come to work,” said Angela Fumo, senior vice president of human capital at Wyndham. “We're excited to provide a phenomenal workspace to our employees.”

Wyndham is also working on a new model for loan officers that includes comprehensive marketing support. The new model provides loan officers with a marketing platform that aims to make closing 16 days faster than the national average.

"Experienced loan officers want our technology and proprietary marketing systems,” Wyndham Chief Operations Manager Ben Cowen said. "We understand that professional loan officers need to maximize their earnings and elevate their lifestyle to sustain their performance."
