Certainty Home Lending taps VP to lead expansion

Certainty Home Lending has announced the appointment of Darius Korybko as vice president of business development.

Korybko was previously recognized as the Illinois Mortgage Association Banker of the Year. He has nearly two decades of mortgage lending expertise. Prior to joining Certainty Home Lending, he was a senior wealth management loan officer at Bank of America.

Area manager Evan Klee said Korybko’s appointment will contribute to the company’s expansion efforts in the Midwest, particularly in Chicago.

“Darius has the best work ethic I’ve seen over the course of my career,” Klee said in an emailed release. “His gift for open and honest communication has made him one of the Midwest’s very best originators, and will certainly be an asset for Certainty Home Lending as we continue our growth in Chicago.”

Korybko also spoke about his decision to join Certainty Home Lending as he praised the leadership team for their clear vision and proven strategies.

“The leadership team with Certainty Home Lending made my decision to come here an easy one,” said Korybko. “They’ve made it clear where we’re going, and have proven they know how to get there the right way. I’m looking forward to making us a household name in the greater Chicago metro area, as well as the Midwest.”

CEO Franco Terango remarked on the roles that both Korybko and Klee will play in driving the company’s expansion in the Great Lakes and Midwest regions.

“They are proven producers and outstanding listeners,” he said. “They set the standard for the model for originators, serving their clients as financial advisors, making the most of the products and resources available to them and providing the ideal fit for clients.”
