Real estate industry sees strength in numbers
Two new alliances have been formed in the real estate industry to benefit from economies of scale.

The commercial industry is uniting to operate a marketing alliance by combining their marketing dollars and putting their listings on one website. The group is hoping to operate the most heavily-trafficked website in the commercial real estate industry.

The platform will be operated as a not-for-profit entity with 20% remaining after operating costs being donated to charities.

The proof-of-concept project shapeshifter.com has been operating in Florida for several years but is ready to be rolled-out nationwide.

Meanwhile, a new real estate network has been launched to bring together the international real estate industry.

The World Real Estate Network and its online portal juspost.com has been launched by 32-year-old Haxhi Rugova who plans to connect the online real estate world and steer the industry towards eco-friendly development.

Brokers, agents, developers, investors, lenders, appraisers, attorneys, architects, engineers, and property managers from all sectors of real estate world will be invited to join the new network.

Rugova says that the “global real estate industry is built on relationships, and the only thing it was lacking was a dedicated online network.”

"We have created a dedicated network for real estate industry professionals around the world. This is a major development for our industry and we're proud to be at the forefront,” he added.

The launch of the site at midday on Aug 16th comes with ambitious plans to be the “most powerful network on Earth.”
