Real estate firms among brands of 2018

Two of America’s most well-known real estate firms have been named among the best brands by more than 77,000 consumers.

The Harris Poll’s EquiTrend study determined the ‘brand equity’ of US companies across several industry sectors including ‘home’ and this year Berkshire Hathaway Home Services and Zillow have made the grade.

Inclusion is based on consumers’ perception of its brand familiarity, quality and purchasing consideration, among other qualifying factors.

“We are honored to be recognized by consumers in the respected Harris Poll EquiTrend® study,” said Gino Blefari, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices president and CEO. “It’s a tribute to our franchisees’ tireless work and support of clients and the exemplary way they represent our brand in the marketplace.”

The real estate brokerage was named “Real Estate Agency of the Year” and “Most Trusted Real Estate Brand.”

Zillow is also named among the Real Estate Brands of the Year for Online Home Search.
