NexBank names new chief mortgage banking officer

NexBank, one of the largest privately held banks in Texas, has announced the promotion of company veteran Brian Ralston (pictured) to executive vice president and chief mortgage banking officer.

Ralston, who previously served as senior vice president of mortgage banking, will now head the strategic direction of the bank’s mortgage division. He will also continue to oversee all origination and servicing operations of the wholesale, warehouse, non-delegated and delegated correspondent channels.

In addition, Ralston is also the president of NexBank Title. He played a key role in establishing the company’s title services business that serves commercial and consumer real estate borrowers in Texas.

Ralston has nearly two decades of mortgage banking experience. He was a regional underwriting manager at DHI Mortgage before joining NexBank.

With assets of $13.9 billion, NexBank provides institutional, commercial, and mortgage banking services. It is a subsidiary of NexBank Capital.
