New American Funding expands SoCal footprint

New American Funding has expanded its footprint in Southern California with the opening of a new location in Indio.

The new location is a full-service mortgage provider that will offer a range of purchase and refinance products, with a focus on niche loans and down-payment assistance programs. The company said that it opened the branch after recognizing a need for affordable loan programs in the Coachella Valley area.

“We’re excited to serve an underserved community,” said branch manager Sandra Magana. “We have options as diverse as our clients. We have the right loan products to assist today’s homebuyer in East Coachella Valley.

Magana, a native of the valley and a fluent Spanish speaker, has more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry. She’s worked in a variety of capacities, including as a top-producing loan officer and as a branch manager.

“Sandra is a seasoned professional who’s well-respected,” said Virginia Martinez, regional manager for New American Funding. “She’s the perfect person to open this branch.”

“My biggest passion is helping farm workers find affordable housing,” Magana said. “Our programs can help residents become homeowners, whether they’re self-employed or a seasonal employee.”
