Network Funding promotes VP to new role

Network Funding has announced the promotion of Richard Jefferson (pictured), previously vice president of sales and operations, to executive vice president of production.

In his new role, Jefferson will oversee the company's growing sales team and individual producers nationwide. Additionally, he will also focus on connecting with loan officers and interested candidates as part of Network Funding's efforts to introduce more producers to the company.

"We are proud to announce Richard's promotion as he has successfully served as our vice president of sales and operations for the past 10 years," Network Funding president Matt Kiker said. "We work to provide the best support, technology, and resources in order to that make our loan officers successful. Richard is a world-class sales leader whose communication and coaching make the people exceptional instead of just average."

Jefferson, a 25-year industry veteran, joined Network Funding in 2013. In his previous role, he headed the implementation of the company's You+ training program for his sales staff. Jefferson also shares his expertise on the "Today in Mortgages" podcast, where he helps break down daily mortgage and real estate news and gives coaching on how to address buyers and borrowers in today's difficult housing market.
