CBC Mortgage Agency turns to industry veteran for newly created role

CBC Mortgage Agency (CBCMA) has tapped Alicia Wood for the newly created role of director of servicing and asset management.

Wood (pictured), who comes to the company with over 25 years of experience, will oversee CBCMA’s loan servicing operations and mitigation activity on all first and second mortgages, as well as agency and investor reporting.

Before joining the federally chartered housing finance agency, Wood served as vice president of servicing at non-QM lender Angel Oak. She also held leadership positions related to default operations at several home lenders, including Homebridge Financial Services, Ditech Financial, Residential Credit Solutions, Saxon Mortgage, and Green Tree Servicing.

“Alicia has deep roots in non-agency and government mortgage servicing, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect to bring her on as we enter into an exciting time of growth for our company,” CBC Mortgage Agency president Miki Adams said in the company’s press release. “Alicia is a talented and accomplished professional whom we are fortunate to be able to add to our new leadership team.”

“I believe I am most successful in environments like the one that CBCMA has fostered, where collaboration is encouraged, and adaptability is essential,” Wood said. “I’m excited to join a growing company with such a talented team.”
