Blackstone Mortgage Trust brings new name on to board of directors

Real estate industry veteran Nnenna Lynch has joined Blackstone Mortgage Trust’s board of directors.

Lynch brings a wealth of experience in real estate investment and is a seasoned leader in urban redevelopment. She is the founder and CEO of Xylem Projects, a mission-driven real estate firm focused on preserving workforce housing and developing mixed-use projects.

Before Xylem Projects, Lynch was a managing principal and head of development for The Georgetown Company, a privately held diversified real estate company. She also served as a senior policy advisor for New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg from 2008 to 2014.
