Thirty-year industry veteran Iain Smith is a forward-thinking, results-driven professional with a breadth of commercial and operational experience of the UK mortgage industry and a track record of managing across B2B and B2C markets and across key distribution channels. He joined the Bank of Ireland in 2015 as head of corporate accounts, and was appointed head of intermediaries in February last year. He had a short stint at CoreLogic Solutions as business development director in 2012, while a bulk of his career was spent at Acord Mortgages where he established relationships with many of the largest distributors as sales director (November 2003-September 2010) and regional sales manager (October 2001-November 2003). Prior to that, he served as area manager at Yorkshire Building Society for three years.
