RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing, one of the nation's largest non-bank mortgage servicing companies, has been selected as a subservicing partner by Chicago-based Neighborhood Lending Services.

Neighborhood Lending Services, Illinois’ largest nonprofit mortgage lender, is an affiliate of Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago, a nonprofit neighborhood revitalization organization that provides homeownership education classes and fixed-rate loans to purchase, refinance or rehab. Over the past 43 years, Neighborhood Housing Services has served more than 228,000 clients, created more than 5,000 homeowners and saved more than 10,000 homes from foreclosure.

“We chose RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing because of its best-in-class systems, customer-centric operating model and robust reporting tools,” said Robin Coffey, Neighborhood Housing Services chief credit officer. “The transfer of our initial loans could not have gone smoother.”

Kevin Brungardt, RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing chief executive officer, said the company is committed to partnering with organizations like Neighborhood Lending Services to help expand homeownership and strengthen communities.

Founded in 2007, Charlotte, NC-based RoundPoint services more than $75 billion worth of mortgage assets as a fully licensed subservicer for commercial banks, credit unions, mortgage companies, and hedge funds.
