Brokers, lenders, aggregators and BDMs can now enter Australia's most prestigious mortgage industry awards before 3 July
Nominations for the 2026 Australian Mortgage Awards (AMAs) are now open, with Australia's top mortgage brokers, brokerages, lenders, aggregators and business development managers invited to enter before the 3 July deadline.
The prestigious annual event honours outstanding achievements across the Australian mortgage industry, recognising professionals who have made significant contributions and demonstrated exceptional expertise in their respective roles over the past 12 months.
Winners will be announced at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney on Friday, 16 October. The AMAs are presented by Mortgage Professional Australia and Australian Broker.
Broker and brokerage categories
The 2026 awards span broker, brokerage, industry, aggregator, BDM, lender, and national categories. Individual broker awards include:

To be eligible for Young Gun of the Year, nominees must be aged 35 or under as at 1 June 2026 and have been accredited as a broker on or after 1 June 2024.

The ANZ Woman of Distinction award recognises an outstanding female or non-binary individual in any facet of the mortgage industry whose personal and professional achievements have earned them a place among the industry's best.
The national awards – the Westpac Australian Broker of the Year and the Liberty Australian Brokerage of the Year – are not open for direct nominations. Excellence awardees in these categories comprise the winners of the respective individual broker and brokerage categories, with winners announced on the night.
This year's panel judges include Helen Avis, director of finance, Specialist Mortgage; Cory Bannister, senior vice president – chief lending officer, La Trobe Financial; Adam Brown, executive, broker distribution, NAB; and Anja Pannek, chief executive, the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA).
Key dates for 2026
Nominations opened on Monday, 1 June, and close on Friday, 3 July. Excellence awardees will be announced on Monday, 10 August, ahead of the gala on Friday, 16 October.
