He began his financial journalism career on the fast-paced London beat, where he worked on numerous news desks and trade publications before returning to Australia in 2025. William (or just Billy once you get to know him) completed a BA in Journalism and Media at Birkbeck University, UK, before going on to finish a Master’s in Creative and Critical Writing, also at Birkbeck.
