Quicken Loans gets top rankings in latest J.D. Power survey

A Detroit-based mortgage lender has been named the best in the country for client satisfaction

According to J.D. Power’s latest survey, Detroit-based Quicken Loans ranks the highest in the country for client satisfaction among home loan servicers. This is the third consecutive year Quicken Loans has earned the top spot, and has ranked the highest in the survey each year it’s been eligible.

Quicken Loans also earned the top spot in the J.D. Power survey for “Highest in Customer Satisfaction for Primary Mortgage Origination – making this the sixth consecutive year the company has achieved this honor. In total, Quicken Loans has earned nine top rankings in the past seven years.

Dan Gilbert, Founder and Chairman of Quicken Loans, attributes his company’s success to its commitment to customer service.

“We refer to those who we help as ‘clients,’ not ‘customers,’ for a reason. Too often, mortgage companies view their interaction with a client simply as a transaction, versus a relationship dedicated to assisting the client for the life of their loan. Our passionate team members know the connection with our clients extends far beyond origination, and they obsess every day to make sure all of our serviced clients have the best possible experience.”

Quicken Loans received the highest score in the following categories, as measured by J.D. Power:
  • Overall Satisfaction
  • Interaction
  • Mortgage Fees
  • Escrow Account Administration
  • Communication
  • New Customer Orientation
Clients also rated Quicken Loans 22% higher for being “customer-driven,” 26% higher for “innovation,” and 18% higher than the industry average for being “friendly”. These and other accolades bear testament to the company’s commitment to innovation and customer service.
