GSF Mortgage has announced the acquisition of a new Orlando branch. Industry vet Ed Pollack will join the GSF team as branch manager.

“Ed comes to GSF Mortgage with drive and passion,” said GSF national sales director Mike Maida. “His grass-roots approach mixed with modern industry trends will ensure his success in his market. We are pleased to welcome him to our family.”

Pollack brings more than 25 years of industry experience to GSF. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Pollack started his career as a realtor in 1989 and began originating loans in the mid-1990s.

In the early 2000s Pollack became a computer consultant, working on network design and support. Then outsourcing caught on and the dot-com bubble burst, and Pollack decided to focus solely on originating mortgages.

Pollack has lived in the Orlando area for 35 years.
