Gateway Mortgage appoints new chief banking officer

Gateway Mortgage has announced the appointment of Joe Siegel as its new chief banking officer.

In this role, Siegel will oversee the company’s retail banking services, as well as its commercial, consumer, and specialty lending activities.

Before joining Gateway, Siegel served as managing director of corporate finance at Everett Advisory Partners With over three decades of experience in the banking industry, Siegel has held senior leadership roles at BBVA North America and BBVA Compass, in addition to a stint at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he worked within the syndicated finance, corporate lending, and wealth management areas.

“Joe has had a distinguished career in banking, holding leadership roles in commercial, corporate and private wealth lending at a variety of institutions,” said Gateway CEO Stephen Curry. “He has a proven track record of revenue generation, relationship management, and advisory services. We are excited to welcome him to Gateway and he is a core part of the team we have assembled to achieve our strategic objectives.”
