Caliber Home Loans has hired industry vet Carl Streicher as regional vice president of retail lending for California. Streicher will be responsible for the development and expansion of Caliber’s retail lending operation in the state.

With more than 23 years of sales and executive experience in the mortgage industry under his belt, Streicher comes to Caliber from a full-service residential lender, where he was responsible for managing daily operations, developing policies and procedures and recruiting and training employees.

“Carl's experience as a successful loan originator and branch manager is a valuable asset to the sales force that he will lead as RVP of our California region,” said John Bianchi, Caliber’s executive vice president of retail lending. “I have had the honor of working with Carl for a number of years and he has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and an ability to execute that has yielded a track record of exemplary performance. As we continue to grow our West Division, we are excited to welcome important assets like Carl to Caliber Home Loans' team.”

“To be successful in today's rapidly evolving mortgage and real estate industry, a company's leadership and operational execution are key drivers of its success,” said Streicher. “Caliber Home Loans is led by a seasoned team of industry experts with the highest ethical standards, which is what set Caliber apart as my employer of choice. Caliber is a responsible lender with the controls and disciplines to be one of the most highly-regarded firms in the industry, providing the right financial solutions to both our customer and business partners. I could not be more proud to join this winning team.”
