A collaboration of 29 real estate industry organizations has launched a website called Careers Building Communities as its first initiative to help users navigate through career paths across all sectors of real estate.

The website seeks to raise awareness and attract talent to the many careers available across the real estate environment. The platform is designed for students, educators, and other individuals to explore each industry sector and learn more about education and employment opportunities.

“Many, if not most, of us who work in real estate ‘happened into it’, but once there, few ever leave,” National Multifamily Housing Council President and CEO Doug Bibby said. “I congratulate my peers in the participating trade groups for collaborating in such a meaningful way. Our talent pipeline is vitally important to us, and we hope that ‘Careers Building Communities’ will help steer more people to our dynamic industry.”

The website allows students in high school, college, technical programs, and community colleges to explore real estate careers by taking an interactive quiz and discover opportunities. The launch comes as the industry seeks to fill millions of jobs.

The 29 organizations participating in the collaboration represent more than 10 million real estate sector jobs.
