Homeowner education website SOLD.com has expanded its offering to include prospective homebuyers.
The site has focused on homeowners to help them with the selling process and this development marks its first move into the other end of the market, the buyers.
“While market conditions inevitably impact the housing market, choosing the right partner to help with home buying is likely to have a much bigger effect on the amount of time it takes to buy – and perhaps more striking – the amount someone pays or saves in the process,” said Matt Woods, President of SOLD.com. “At SOLD.com, we’re committed to arming prospective home buyers with an understanding of all the options available and serving as a partner from beginning to end, from providing a free analytics-driven recommendation at the onset to employing our concierge team to serve as a resource throughout the process.”
The recommendation engine is powered by machine learning which, using the prospective buyer’s answers, valuates the top local real estate agents, institutional buyers, discount agent models and more to match buyers with the option that will best help them achieve their goals.
The site has partnered with thousands of traditional real estate agents across the US along with partnering with firms including RedfinNow, Purplebricks, and Reali.
