Brokers, lenders and BDMs have days left to enter Australia's most prestigious mortgage industry awards
The clock is winding down for mortgage professionals hoping to be recognised at the 2026 Australian Mortgage Awards (AMAs), with the nominations period set to close on Friday, 3 July.
Presented by MPA and AustralianBroker, the AMAs are widely regarded as the benchmark for excellence across Australia's mortgage and finance industry. This year's program encompasses more than 20 categories spanning brokers, brokerages, lenders, aggregators, and business development managers – making it the most comprehensive program in the awards' history.
Eligible professionals who have not yet submitted an entry have only a few days to act.

Judging panel and key dates
The 2026 judging panel brings together a cross-section of senior industry leaders. Helen Avis, director of finance at Specialist Mortgage; Cory Bannister, senior vice president and chief lending officer at La Trobe Financial; Adam Brown, executive of broker distribution at National Australia Bank (NAB); and Anja Pannek, chief executive of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA), will all play a role in assessing entries.
Excellence awardees will be announced on Monday, 10 August 2026. The gala dinner will follow on Friday, 16 October, at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney.
