Arc Home taps industry vet to build out non-QM program

Multi-channel lender Arc Home LLC has appointed Will Fisher as division vice president for third-party originations. In his new role, Fisher, former senior vice president and national sales and marketing director for Citadel Servicing Corp., will help build out Arc Home’s non-QM offering in its wholesale and correspondent channels.

“What we’re doing is modifying and growing out the non-QM side of the business,” Fisher said. “Arc Home is already a licensed lender in 47 states, including New York, Texas, California and Florida. Now we’re taking a very big step towards offering brokers and soon bankers a very compelling offering and service model to aggressively compete in the non-QM space.”

Fisher said that Arc Home is committed to driving its non-QM offering forward.

“Arc Home has good bones beginning with a great management team, headed by Richard Bradfield, chief executive officer, and Katherine Gardner, chief production officer. They have a national footprint, and they have a real appetite for rapidly growing their non-QM production,” he said. “They’re taking big strides to do that; I just returned from a week of meetings focused on updating product and processes. Arc is already in the market; however, we’re making the product more robust – and it’s going to be very competitive, very quickly.”

Fisher’s experience in the non-QM space gives Arc Home a decided advantage when it comes to designing robust non-agency products.

“We understand which paper performs and which doesn’t, and what investor appetites are right now,” he said. “It puts us in a very unique position –so we can quickly bring to market the right offerings.

“Additionally, Arc is heavily invested in technology,” he added. “From a technology standpoint we have isolated some prime lending best practices and automated those functions to support the non-QM process. This makes our process much more transparent for our brokers.”

Fisher said that Arc Home is looking for talented non-QM professionals to join its team.

“Right now, we are in build mode.  We are updating everything, the website, product, pricing, marketing and the sales team.  I’m charged with building out the western half of the United States, we have an amazing opportunity for account executives who feel their product is too limited or they are at a company that is oversaturated with AEs.  At the same time, we are growing our operations staff in southern New Jersey and Phoenix, as well as in remote locations for particular functions, to accommodate the increase in originations volume,” he said.  “You need to be able to have a breadth of accounts and at Arc the territories are wide open. I have an opportunity for about 10 to 15 account executives immediately.”
