Walker & Dunlop welcomes new sales team for its multifamily expansion

Walker & Dunlop has tapped five new additions to its property sales broker team in Chicago to support its multifamily sales platform expansion in the Midwest.

The company added Mark Myers and Josh Jandris as managing directors, with Jordyn Berger, Alex Vice, and Mike Surak as vice presidents. They will work together with the firm’s senior housing finance group to oversee the origination and execution of its property sales nationwide.

The team joined Walker & Dunlop from Marcus & Millichap, where they served as part of the Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) Senior Housing Group.  Berger, Myers, Jandris, Surak, and Vice have closed more than $5.3 billion in senior housing transactions throughout their careers.

"We have been extremely focused on building out our multifamily property sales platform across the United States, and the addition of this talented team in Chicago both expands our geographic footprint and provides an entry point into the active senior housing sector,” said Greg Engler, executive vice president of Walker & Dunlop. “The team's expertise in this niche segment of the multifamily market, along with its long-term care platform, will complement our established senior housing finance capabilities and provide additional value to our clients."

"Joining Walker & Dunlop gives our team the opportunity to be a major contributor to the company's strategic growth over the next several years, particularly as it expands the scale of its property sales footprint," Myers said.
