Redfin rolls out direct homebuying business in four Texas markets

Redfin has announced that it now offers Redfin Direct, its direct homebuying service, in Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.

Redfin Direct enables buyers to see and purchase Redfin-listed homes without the need for an agent. Additionally, homebuyers can schedule and do a home tour through their mobile devices with Redfin’s Book it Now and Direct Access options.

"Texas is the first state where we're offering our complete suite of services to help Redfin's clients make their move seamless," said Redfin Chief Growth Officer Adam Wiener. "Redfin Direct is the latest way we're redefining real estate in the consumer's favor, but for years Redfin has been building all of the pieces to create a one-stop shop. By bundling services, we can deliver more value at every step, and it unlocks new capabilities for our clients like the move-up buyer who can get the down payment for her next home in as little as seven days by selling her current place to RedfinNow."

The company’s home-selling service, RedfinNow, and Redfin Mortgage are also available in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. The firm plans to launch Redfin Direct and Title Forward, its title and settlement company, to additional markets over the next few months.
