The company appoints former Guaranteed Rate SVP of mortgage lending
Guaranteed Rate Affinity, a joint venture between Guaranteed Rate and Realogy, has announced the appointment of Jon Altizer as senior vice president of mortgage lending.
Altizer spent nearly eight years of his 20-year career in the mortgage industry working for Guaranteed Rate, where he focused on loan origination and bolstering relationships with real estate agents in Illinois.
“Jon has built such strong relationships with his customers and referral partners here in Chicago and throughout the Midwest, and I look forward to seeing how he can build on that momentum as a part of our platform," said Victor Ciardelli, founder and CEO of Guaranteed Rate.
Before Guaranteed Rate Affinity, Altizer served as originating branch manager at CrossCountry Mortgage and was a senior loan officer at Compass Mortgage. He also worked at Professional Mortgage for nine years as a senior mortgage consultant at the start of his career.
"I'm excited to return to the Guaranteed Rate family and work with Victor and the leadership team at Guaranteed Rate Affinity,” Altizer said. “Others have tried to copy the model, but I have yet to see it successfully replicated.
