Tech-driven mortgage lender loanDepot has announced a joint venture with AV Homes, one of America’s top 25 home builders which operates in Florida, the Carolinas, and Arizona.

The partnership will operate as AVH Mortgage and is available to future buyers of homes in AV Homes communities. They will be able to access home finance via loanDepot’s platform Mello and complete the process including signing documents online.

"We are excited that the next generation of AV Homes customers will be among the first to use our innovative mello technology thanks to this joint venture partnership," said Dan Peña, senior vice president of national joint ventures for loanDepot.

For the homebuilder, the partnership enables a streamlined process for buyers of their homes.

"The AVH Mortgage venture demonstrates our ability to leverage our growing business to efficiently provide value added benefits to our customers and shareholders," commented Roger A. Cregg, President and Chief Executive Officer of AV Homes.

AVH Mortgage is based in Scottsdale with a centralized and integrated team of licensed loan consultants supporting AV Homes communities across the five markets where they are currently operating.
