Common Securitization Solutions (CSS), a joint venture owned by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, has appointed Kelly Isikoff (pictured) as chief information security officer, effective immediately.

Isikoff made the switch to CSS from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where she served as a cybersecurity business and strategy advisor. She also worked as chief information security officer at insurance firms AXIS Capital and RenaissanceRe. Before that, she held leadership positions at several banks, including executive director and CISO at JPMorgan and senior vice president of global information security at Citigroup.

CSS is one of the largest mortgage securitization platforms in the world, which supports Fannie and Freddie’s Uniform Mortgage-Backed Security (UMBS). The Common Securitization Platform processes more than $400 billion in MBS every month.

“CSS is thrilled to welcome Kelly Isikoff to our technology leadership team,” said Susan Gueli, chief technology officer and executive vice president of CSS. “Kelly brings an impressive blend of deep technical skill, practical business focus, and strong security expertise to CSS.

“Our company supports the securitization process of more than one million mortgage-backed securities, and managing these securities is paramount to the stability of the US mortgage finance market,” Gueli added. “As CISO, Kelly will play a critical role and lead a holistic information risk team, ensuring the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of our data and processes.”
