Partnership with Jones Group Realtors extends its footprint in Western Massachusetts
William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage, & Insurance has announced its acquisition of Jones Group Realtors (JGR). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Massachusetts-based real estate firm has snapped up JGR, a family-owned brokerage in Northampton. This acquisition came on the heels of William Raveis' major expansion into South Carolina.
Chris Raveis, president of residential sales for William Raveis, commented on the move: "Our alliance with one of the most respected firms in the Pioneer Valley is a big step forward in our expansion plan. Our strategic acquisition is a win-win for all agents and customers."
William Raveis has established itself as one of the leading independent real estate companies in the greater Boston, Cape Cod, and Nantucket luxury marketplace. The company offers residential, relocation, and luxury real estate services. It also has full-service mortgage and insurance units.

Over 50 JGR agents will join Jones in transitioning to William Raveis, according to a news release.
