Mortgage Introducer reveals industry’s Elite Women for 2022

Mortgage Introducer has announced its list of some of the best female leaders in the UK mortgage industry in its inaugural Elite Women report.

The pioneering list is composed of 65 Elite Women whose achievements, mentorship, and contributions have created a positive and lasting impact on the mortgage industry.

Mortgage Introducer invited industry professionals across the UK to nominate women who are making waves in the industry. Nominees had to be working in a role that related to, interacted with, or in some way impacted the industry.

Nominators were also asked to describe their nominee’s outstanding professional achievements over the past 12 months, their contributions to diversity and inclusion in the industry, and how they have given back through volunteer roles and charity work. Also considered were recommendations from managers and senior industry professionals.

The Mortgage Introducer team received a total of 143 nominations, and, after a thorough review, the list was narrowed down to the final 65 women who have made their mark on the industry.

Among the winners this year are:

  • Helen Carter – head of channel engagement, Barclays
  • Jenny Chu – chief finance officer, Finova
  • Melanie Spencer – head of finova payment and mortgage services; business development director, Finova
  • Monica Bradley – managing director, Monica Bradley Associates
  • Tiba Raja – executive director, Market Financial Solutions
