MFS names head of national accounts

Specialist finance provider Market Financial Solutions (MFS) has announced the appointment of Liza Campion (pictured) as its head of national accounts.

With a career in the mortgage industry that began in 1986, Campion brings decades of experience to her role at MFS. Her professional journey includes roles at Scottish Life, Legal & General, Mortgage Trust, and Paragon Mortgages, before moving on to positions at Southern Pacific Mortgage Limited (SPML), the Alliance of Mortgage Packagers & Distributors (AMPD), Precise Mortgages, and the OSB Group.

Campion’s new role at the London-based specialist lender involves enhancing the distribution of MFS’s range of financial products. She will focus on expanding reach among large clubs, packagers, and networks throughout the UK, reporting directly to Karen Rodrigues, head of sales at Market Financial Solutions.

“Liza comes to us with a wealth of experience, having spent more than three decades in the specialist mortgage sector – this includes running mortgage desks with the likes of Legal & General in her early career, to successfully running a not-for-profit packager association with a £2 billion annual turnover and, more recently, implementing and building a hugely successful key accounts team with Precise Mortgages,” Rodrigues said.

“Her extensive market knowledge and understanding of all distribution channels means she’s perfectly placed to become our new head of national accounts. I’m looking forward to working closely with Liza; her natural aptitude for strategy, sales, and marketing, as well as her tenacious work ethic, will undoubtedly make her a great addition to the MFS team.”

Commenting on her appointment, Campion said she was delighted to join MFS, which was given The Blacks Solicitors Award for Specialist Lender of the Year in the 2023 Mortgage Introducer Awards.

“I am excited to join Karen and head up the national accounts team, helping to drive more growth for MFS in the future,” she added.
