Castle Trust Bank recruits BDM for South East and East Anglia

Castle Trust Bank has hired Ryan Johnson (pictured) to be its business development manager (BDM) for the South East and East Anglia.

Johnson, who has a broad experience in specialist lending across a number of roles covering redemptions, underwriting, completions, and business development, joins Castle Trust Bank from Bluestone Mortgages. He was also a BDM at Bluestone, and previously held positions at Hampshire Trust Bank, Masthaven Bank, and Amicus Finance.

In his new role, Johnson will work with broker firms in his assigned regions to promote Castle Trust Bank’s specialist bridging proposition. He will also provide a dedicated point of contact for queries around any element of the lending process.

Castle Trust Bank launched a specialist bridging proposition last summer, featuring specialist products for heavy refurbishment, light refurbishment and a bridge product that can be used for chain breaks, quick purchases, auction purchases, and development exits.

“Castle Trust Bank has a strong reputation for providing brokers with a unique combination of flexibility and certainty, supported by really responsive service,” Johnson commented. “I’m excited to join the team and play my part in continuing to build on this reputation, helping more brokers in the South East and East Anglia to deliver great outcomes to more of their clients.”

Anna Lewis, who was promoted to the role of commercial director last October, said that they were delighted that Johnson had joined Castle Trust Bank to help grow the business in the South East and East Anglia.

“With Castle Trust’s bridging range, brokers have access to clear criteria and product information, but can also rely on us being able to meet the individual needs of their clients, structuring solutions in ways that deliver the best customer outcomes,” Lewis remarked.

“Our four-hour service levels provide brokers with the responsive feedback they need in order to deliver their clients with an excellent customer experience, and we continue to invest in supporting our brokers, with a dedicated BDM team, each supported by their own telephone BDM.

“Ryan is that latest regional account manager to join that team, and will be instrumental in helping more brokers to experience the benefits of working with Castle Trust Bank.”
