Castle Trust Bank has new commercial director

Castle Trust Bank has promoted Anna Lewis (pictured) to the role of commercial director.

Lewis, who has 18 years of experience in intermediary mortgages, joined Castle Trust Bank as director of proposition and strategy in February of this year. She previously held roles at Hampshire Trust Bank, Purely Mortgages, and Interbay Commercial.

In her new role, Lewis will continue to lead the bank’s commercial strategy, building on the success of its specialist buy-to-let mortgage lending, and a dedicated bridging proposition that was launched earlier this year. She will also take on the responsibility of leading the team of regional account and business development managers.

“Castle Trust Bank is an incredibly dynamic lender, able to innovate and develop its offering to meet the changing needs of property investors,” Lewis remarked. “Change is one characteristic that is certain to define the market in the coming months, and I’m looking forward to steering our strategy and leading our team in this new role.”

Barry Searle, managing director of property at Castle Trust Bank, said he was delighted to promote Lewis to the role of commercial director.

“In a relatively short time at Castle Trust Bank, she has already made a big contribution in developing our proposition to meet the evolving needs of property investors,” Searle added. “I have no doubt that she will build on this momentum as she takes on this new role and continue to put Castle Trust Bank at the forefront of consideration for any broker who has property investor clients.”
