The podcast features experts tackling key industry topics
Pepper Money has launched the fifth season of its podcast for mortgage brokers, The Specialist.
The podcast, hosted by Rob Barnard (pictured), intermediary relationship director at Pepper Money, features industry experts discussing key topics in the mortgage sector.
Confirmed guests include Rob Sinclair, outgoing chief executive of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI), in one of his final interviews in the role; Kelly McCabe, managing director at The Mortgage People; Neal Jannels, managing director at One Mortgage System; Pam Brown, owner of Pam Brown Mortgages; and Paul Broadhead, head of mortgage and housing policy at the Building Societies Association.
This season’s episodes cover a range of subjects, including the role of building societies, challenges faced by first-time buyers, the growing importance of technology in mortgages, and personal interests outside the mortgage industry.
The first episode of the new season was released yesterday, January 9, and is available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. New episodes will be released every Thursday.
“I don’t think we could have ever predicted the popularity of The Specialist when we launched the podcast five seasons ago,” Barnard said. “Podcasts are a great medium to digest information, but it’s become a very crowded space, so to continue to attract so many listeners and such great guests is really exciting.
“It’s always been my mission to keep the podcast relevant and helpful, talking about real topics that are pertinent to brokers, with episodes that are short and punchy, informal but very informative. We’ve stuck to these principles for season five and we can’t wait to see what reaction we get for each episode.”
