The lifetime mortgage lender has overhauled its adviser support as pension reform puts housing wealth in focus
more2life has launched an online Adviser Support Hub and a new case ownership model for lifetime mortgage advisers. The move comes as housing wealth becomes an increasingly important part of retirement planning.
The hub provides round-the-clock guidance on processes, best practice and considerations across six stages of a lifetime mortgage application. These cover fact finding, application, valuation and underwriting to offer generation and funds disbursement.
Each stage includes FAQs to help streamline processes, explainer videos and downloadable guides, informed by internal expertise.

Supporting advisers through the application process
more2life said the hub is an additional source of support intended to help advisers manage client expectations, gather the information needed for a seamless journey and progress cases quickly.
It is also intended to help advisers make more of growing later life lending opportunities and, by assisting new entrants, grow the sector.
“Our new Adviser Support Hub has been created to make that support easier to access than ever before,” said Ben Waugh, managing director for manufacturing at more2life. “Whether advisers are looking for practical guidance, educational resources or process support, the hub brings everything together in one place, making it easier to find the information and assistance they need.”
A single case owner through to completion
Under the end-to-end operating model, launched alongside the hub, individual team members own cases from application through to completion. This gives advisers a single, accountable point of support.
The lender said the model reduces unnecessary hand-offs and increases visibility across the customer journey.
more2life said the approach is intended to accelerate case progression and resolve queries more quickly, with clearer communication and more consistent service.
Staff will also gain wider expertise across the application process, helping them identify potential challenges earlier.
“At more2life, we’ve always believed that great adviser support is about helping advisers build confidence, save time and deliver the best possible outcomes for their clients,” Waugh said.
Pension reform puts property wealth in view
more2life said the planned reform of the State Pension triple lock from 2030 puts greater focus on retirement income resilience. The government told MPs on October 13 that from April 2030 the state pension will rise by the highest of inflation, 2.5% or earnings growth.
Housing wealth is becoming an increasingly important fourth pillar of retirement planning. more2life said the hub will help advisers consider a wider range of later life lending options in more holistic client conversations.
“The later life lending market continues to evolve, creating significant opportunities for advisers to help more clients achieve better outcomes in retirement,” Waugh said. He added that alongside competitive products, advisers need the right support, insight and expertise.
Equity release lending rose 4% to £597 million in Q2 2026, according to the Equity Release Council, though it remained below Q2 2025 levels.
With pension reform reshaping retirement planning, more2life said the hub positions advisers to have more confident conversations about housing wealth. The lender said the initiative reflects its commitment to simplifying processes and helping advisers deliver better outcomes.
