President and co-owner
New American Funding

Mortgage maven Patty Arvielo got her start in the industry at just 16 years old, working in a clerical position for TransUnion Credit. In 2003, she and her husband, Rick Arvielo, launched their own company, New American Funding. Over the past decade, Arvielo has grown the company to more than 100 branches and 2,000+ employees nationally and has helped to bring the entire loan process in-house. Today, New American Funding finances more than $900 million in home loans monthly, a bottom-line that Arvielo continues to actively contribute to. As a proud Mexican-American, Arvielo set out to serve the underserved Hispanic-American market four years ago and has built one of the largest sales forces in the industry dedicated to serving this market. Her community involvement includes serving on the executive board of Big Brothers Big Sisters Orange County and being a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. She also serves on both the Diversity Committee and the Consumer Affairs Advisory Council for the Mortgage Bankers Association, is a member of the Fannie Mae Affordable Housing Advisory Council and sits on the Freddie Mac Community Lender Advisory Board.
