Major lender nabs industry vet for sales leader role

A major lender has announced the appointment of an industry vet to build it regional retail presence.
Stearns Lending has appointed Mike Liane as regional sales leader for its retail division. Liane’s responsibilities at Stearns include building retail sales teams and growing the company’s retail presence throughout the Pacific Northwest.
“We are very pleased to have Mike Liane at Stearns Lending,” said CEO Brian S. Hale.  “Mike brings a stellar track record for building and maintaining high performance sales teams and growing market penetration  in the Pacific Northwest.”
Prior to joining Stearns, Liane served as regional manager for Academy Mortgage Corporation, where he was one of the top regional sales leaders in the Pacific Northwest. He previously served as district sales manager for MetLife Home Loans, regional sales executive for Bank of America, and area manager for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. He has nearly 20 years of mortgage industry experience, including more than a decade of retail loan origination leadership.
